Facilitation Training

we can work it out.jpegIn partnership with MCLS and the Library of Michigan, presenters from We Can Work It Out, LLC will be coming to Michigan this spring to lead trainings on facilitation. These workshops are intended to help you increase skills and knowledge necessary to ensure successful community engagement projects in your local communities. The day will include learning theory, as well as practice of skills and peer feedback.

The workshop will break down the facilitator’s role into specific learnable skills, then give opportunities for practice of those skills, peer feedback, and more practice. This process encourages the integration of new skills and behaviors and builds confidence in, and awareness of, each person’s own style and strengths.

Who is this workshop for?

These trainings are open to staff of Michigan libraries, with a particular focus on those who have gone through The Harwood Institute Public Innovators labs.
