Engagement

How do we engage?

We engage by intentionally turning outward to our community, having a genuine conversation, and making our greater library communities' aspirations the focus of our work. We engage by building partnerships and collaborating with those who have a shared vision. We succeed when we help libraries to be the best versions of themselves.

Our information comes from Community Conversations with you, the regional, multi-type, library community.

We understand great libraries help build great communities. By authentically understanding what our library community wants to accomplish, we can better prioritize our work and formulate strategies to increase the capacity of the library communities' impact.

Partners and projects

MCLS works in partnership with the Indiana State Library new-window-icon.png, the Library of Michigan new-window-icon.png, and library schools in both states to build better libraries and empower librarians to effect positive change in their community, organization, institution and on campus.
