Who can participate?

Participation is open to any public, academic, school, special library, library cooperative, school district, ISD, or REMC in the state. Participants are not required to have MCLS membership.

How much does it cost?

See RIDES Pricing.

How is the pricing structured?

Libraries pay for service on an annual subscription basis for the period July 1 - June 30 each year.

What if my library has more than one branch?

Each building that requires a delivery stop will need to sign up for the service. So for example, a public library with three branches that would like individual stops would need four service agreements. However, the main library can sign up as a single stop with materials delivered via an internal delivery system (central delivery site).

Can I choose my days?

The courier will work with libraries to coordinate delivery days that will best accommodate their routes and the library hours.

When can I start?

Orders must be received by the 20th of the proceeding month to start service on the 1st of the following month. For example, in order to start service on October 1, place your order by September 20. Pricing for libraries that join mid-year will be pro-rated.
