This Fall, MCLS will begin rolling out a new online payment option through Bank of America’s Commerce Payment Portal, giving libraries a faster, more flexible way to pay their invoices.

The new system will allow libraries to make credit card payments with no spending limits, removing the current $1,000 cap. Credit card payments will include a 3% convenience fee.

Libraries will also have the option to pay via ACH/eCheck at no additional cost, providing a fee-free alternative for those who prefer electronic bank payments.

MCLS will share more information, including instructions and launch timing, as we move closer to implementation. We’re excited to offer libraries a more modern, flexible, and user-friendly payment experience.
