Welcome MCLS Member Services Assistant Megan Bauerle

MCLS is pleased to announce our newest team member, Megan Bauerle. She began on November 5 as our Member Services Assistant. Megan is currently finishing her thesis for an M.S. in archaeology with a focus in biological anthropology from Illinois State University. In 2013, she obtained her B.S. in psychology and anthropology, with a minor in English, from Central Michigan University.

She has worked in libraries since 2009 at Central Michigan University’s Charles V. Park Library and subsequently at the Milner Library at Illinois State University. Additionally, she has presented research at several conferences including the American Association for Physical Anthropology, the Midwest Bioarchaeology and Physical Anthropology Association Conference, and the Midwest Archaeological Conference. She also has a publication titled “Health and Subsistence at the McGulpin Point Lighthouse,” in The Michigan Archaeologist. We expect her diverse expertise and knowledge of libraries will benefit the entire MCLS membership and larger library community. Welcome Megan!
