Michigan Evergreen to be Featured at International Conference

Michigan Evergreen, Michigan’s open-source shared ILS, will be featured in three programs at the Evergreen International Conference 2011 to be held in Decatur, GA, April 27-30.

MCLS staff, Evette Atkin and Megan Dudek, are presenting “We the People: Governing Our Shared Evergreen System,” and Jeff Godin from Michigan Evergreen member library, TADL, is presenting two programs, “From Bolted-on to Baked-in: Transforming Local Hacks into Contributed Features” and “Automated Techniques for Complex Reports.”

As Michigan Evergreen begins its fourth year as a shared system, MCLS’s Megan and Evette are working on migration of two new participants, Barryton Public Library and The Darcy Library of Beulah, slated for mid-March.  As seen in the photo, Evette is already wearing her “migration hat.”

Libraries interested in learning more about Michigan Evergreen are encouraged to contact Evette Atkin (ext. 152), Megan Dudek (ext. 153), or Debbi Schaubman (ext. 113).  If you are interested in scheduling a demo of Michigan Evergreen at your library, please contact Anne Donohue (ext. 142).

For further information on Michigan Evergreen, please see our MCLS Michigan Evergreen web page or MCLS Evergreen News.  Note also that there will be a Michigan Evergreen presentation at MLA Tech Escape on May 20, “Michigan Evergreen Here and Now.”
