As the end of the fiscal year approaches, NewsBank is offering substantial discount incentives (20%+) on their fully digitized, complete run backfiles of local Michigan and Indiana newspaper archives. See the titles here. The offer includes the following details: 

• Titles can be purchased à la carte or as a bundle with additional savings for each title added, as one-time perpetual purchases. 
• NewsBank’s historical newspaper archives are OCR-D scanned, fully searchable backfiles from the master film reels and can act as a replacement for any microfilm the library may hold. 
• Archives include millions of pages of primary source material for local and state historical research and integrate with ILS systems and discovery services. 
• Current NewsBank subscription customers will have NO ongoing hosting or access fees associated with these archive purchases; furthermore, no additional licensing changes would be required for current NewsBank customers participating in the MCLS offer.
