Webinar – Skilltype talent management tool for libraries

Created in 2008, Skilltype offers a library specific talent management system through its online platform. Employees complete a skill assessment and Skilltype identifies skill gaps within a library and then creates personalized training plans for each employee. Employees are matched with training offerings made available through the Skilltype repository. Skilltype does not create professional development content but pulls together existing training opportunities and matches employees to right training for the skills needed. The data and insights gleaned from employee assessments help library administrators make more informed decisions. Skilltype is applicable for academic and public libraries looking for talent management support.
