Optional Enhancements

OPAC

One Line Item Status Display

This enhancement allows for a single line displaying item status and other information. It includes sortable columns.

Expanded Basic Search

This enhancement provides expanded filter options in the basic search including CD, Cassette, DVD and VHS options among others by seeding the search with keywords like "DVD", "VHS", etc. It does not work off of any specific MARC field.

Sortable Columns in My Account

This enhancement creates sortable columns for items out, items on hold, etc. in "My Account"

Place Hold Button Versus Link

This enhancement replaces the "place hold" link with a button

Call Number to Shelf Browser

In this enhancement, when you click on the call number in the item display, it links you directly to the shelf browser.

Due Date Display

This enhancement displays the due date of items checked out in the OPAC

Additional Format Icon

This enhancement adds the icon for Electronic Audio materials to your icon list.

Use of Google Preview Button

When partial or full text of a book is available, this enhancement uses the "Google Preview" button instead of the word "preview".

OPAC Record Display Expansion

This enhancement:

• "Hides" fields not in use in the record display such as "Series" when not used by the MARC record.
• Allows users to choose "more info" or "less info" when viewing a record.
• Displays 246 (alternate title) when available
• Displays multiple ISBNs when available
• Displays title with GMD and author (subfield "C") when available
• Displays table of contents when available (505)

Staff Client

Floating Quick Search

This enhancement adds a floating Quick Search box in the staff client when viewing the catalog.

Top Panel Content Expansion

This enhancement displays the Bib ID and the item create date in the top panel of the staff client.

Exposed Patron ID and Search-ability

This enhancement displays the Patron ID and allows you to search by this unique identifier.

Access Copy Info from Catalog

This enhancement allows you to click on "copy info" and retrieve the information for a specific copy.
