The MCLS Young Adult Services committee provides networking opportunities for YA libraries in the various MCLS member libraries. The committee is charged with the following:

• To serve as a forum for the discussion of issues and concerns related to young adult services through three structured exchanges;
• To developlop a workshop to address serving the needs of young adults;
• To share and respond to challenges of YA collection development policies.
