MCLS' Automated Services committee provides library staff an opportunity to discuss problems and exchange information concerning all aspects of IT services within libraries. The MCLS Automated Services committee's charges are

• To serve as a forum for the discussion of issues and concerns related to technical services and library related technology;
• To hold a workshop in library automation/technical services;
• To hold one or two structured exchanges on topics of importance to technical services and one or two structured exchanges on automation and library related technology.
